Our 36" built-in fountain combines an elemental need with an elegant aesthetic. It's designed to be buried in the ground for a natural, "disappearing" look, and can be placed near a freestanding basin or submerged, to create an in-ground water feature with a pond liner or container. This fountain is more of a project to set up than our other products, but the creative possibilities are endless.

Forgiving Little Pump!
Janice T|August 11, 2025|Verified Purchase

Amazing little pump! I set mine on a pottery flower pot with a piece of firewood under the spout. This pump has survived me despite my best efforts to kill it. First, I went away for a week and forgot to tell my husband to squirt some Hydrogen peroxide in the water. The green algae blocked the intake part of the pump and it stopped working. When I got home I cleaned it and it started working again. Then today we had excessive rain overnight. The fountain was full and I wanted to take out some water. I turned the spout so the water was pumped outside the pot. Long story short, all the water pumped out. I thought great! I burned up the pump. Three gallons of water later it slowly started pumping. Thank you for a tough little pump! BTW, I have been putting maybe an eighth of a cup of hydrogen peroxide in the water a couple times a week. No green slime! So relaxing to listen to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Choose a container at least 2-3 inches wider than your fountain size. For example, a 12" fountain works best with a 14-16" diameter bowl. Deeper bowls (6"+ depth) reduce splashing and require less frequent refilling.

Yes! Our fountains work beautifully indoors. Place on a waterproof surface or use a saucer underneath. The smaller sizes (7" and 12") are especially popular for indoor use due to their gentler water flow.

Add a teaspoon of white vinegar or a few drops of hydrogen peroxide weekly. Using distilled water also helps. For outdoor fountains, keep out of direct sunlight when possible. Commercial fountain algaecides are available and pet-safe options exist.

Tap water works fine for most setups. Distilled water stays cleaner longer and extends pump life by preventing mineral buildup. If you have hard water, distilled is recommended.
